President of Republic takes part in inauguration ceremony of Zimbabwe's president-elect

Harare (Zimbabwe) August 26, 2018 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, has taken part in the inauguration ceremony of Zimbabwean elected President Emmerson Mnangagwa, held at the national stadium, attended by Heads of State and Government of other African states.
After being sworn in as President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, President Emmerson Mnangagwa thanked the Zimbabwean people who has chosen him to lead them, and vowed to work on building a strong economy that would contribute to the prosperity of the African continent.

President Emerson Mananguagua had won the July 30 presidential election.

The President of the Republic is accompanied by a delegation comprising Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed, Salem Ould Salik, Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic in charge of African Affairs, Ahmed Salama, Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malainin Lakhal, and Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mohamed Mouloud Mohammed.
